Due to the general nature of hardware physical failure happens, and as technology evolves older equipment becomes obsolete and increasingly difficult to maintain, and, as businesses grow, the demands placed on hardware capability or capacity increases.
If you have a piece of equipment that has physically failed, or is suspected of failing, we can assess whether a repair is viable and cost-effective or whether it would be more sensible to replace it. Assuming a repair is viable, the decision to repair or replace is entirely yours, and we will do our utmost to effect the most cost-effective repair and with the best chance of extending the operational lifetime of the piece of equipment.
Should you have a need to increase your hardware capacity or capability without replacing it, we can source and install additional memory or storage (spinning disks or SSD's) in servers, desktops, laptops and network storage devices.
We have no particular allegiance to any hardware manufacturer, so if you require new hardware as a result of total failure or obsolescence, we can source and install the most appropriate direct replacement, unless you decide to replace it with a higher specification or a totally different model from the same or an alternative manufacturer.
For new hardware requirements, whether that be for servers, desktops, laptops, network equipment and storage, or for general peripherals such as printers and monitors, we are more than happy to source, supply and install them based upon your specific needs, budget or preference, and are equally as happy for you to acquire them directly and to let us handle the technical work.
Whilst we have no particular allegiance to hardware manufacturers, we would generally consider HP for servers, desktops and laptops, Synology or QNAP for network storage, Draytek for routers, Cisco or HP for network switches, and Draytek or Ubiquiti for WiFi Access Points and Meshes.
